Our sole function is to facilitate transparent rate comparisons for users.

2. Quote Accuracy & Reference

All insurance rates, premium savings, payment options, and related figures displayed on our platform are provided by partnered insurers and are for reference only. Final premium rates, coverage terms, deductibles, and payment details are determined solely by the insurance carrier following its underwriting rules, and are subject to your accurate disclosure of driving history, vehicle information, residency, and other eligibility criteria. We endeavor to ensure real-time and accurate information but assume no liability for rate discrepancies caused by insurer underwriting adjustments, information transmission delays, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.

3. Eligibility Requirements

Discounted rates for senior drivers are subject to Shanghai Shi's new insurance policy criteria, including (but not limited to) being aged 50 or above, low annual driving mileage, and residency in a qualified zip code. You warrant that all personal, driving, and residency information you submit on our platform is true, accurate, and complete. Any misrepresentation or false information leading to ineligibility for discounted rates, policy invalidation, or other losses shall be your sole responsibility.

4. Policy Cancellation & Refunds

Under applicable laws, you have the right to cancel your existing auto insurance policy if you secure a better rate through our platform, and your current insurer is required to refund the full amount of your unused premium immediately. We provide general guidance on these legal rights but do not participate in or mediate the policy cancellation or refund process between you and your insurer. We shall not be liable for any failure by an insurer to fulfill its refund obligations in accordance with the law.

5. User Information Protection

We comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations in the collection, use, and storage of your personal information (including age, zip code, driving history). We only share necessary information with partnered insurers to facilitate quote comparisons, and will not disclose, sell, or transfer your personal information to any third party without your explicit consent, except as required by law.

6. Limitation of Liability

RateCompare.org shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from: (i) force majeure (including natural disasters, policy changes, network outages, etc.); (ii) your accidental or intentional operational errors on the platform; (iii) technical failures of third-party systems; (iv) your reliance on reference quotes to enter into insurance contracts; or (v) disputes between you and insurers regarding policy terms, claims, or refunds. We may provide reasonable assistance in dispute resolution but assume no liability for the outcome of such disputes.

7. Compliance

All partnered insurance companies hold valid insurance business licenses and are in compliance with applicable insurance regulations. RateCompare.org operates in strict adherence to relevant laws and rules governing internet insurance information services, and does not engage in any illegal insurance sales, brokering, or commission-based activities.

8. Amendments & Interpretation

We reserve the right to modify this Legal Disclaimer at any time in accordance with business development and legal requirements. Revised terms shall take effect immediately upon posting on our platform. RateCompare.org shall have the final right of interpretation of this Legal Disclaimer. If you disagree with any revised terms, you must cease using our platform and services immediately.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

The operation of our platform, these terms, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with the use of our services shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be submitted to the people's court with jurisdiction over the location of our platform's operation.
